Review: Rose of Thorne By: Mia Michelle

What's the book about?

When a drunk driver tragically orphans Skylar Rose at the age of sixteen, she leaves her dreams behind and takes on the daunting task of helping her elderly grandmother raise her young sister. While other girls her age were living a typical carefree life, she was picking up double shifts at a local café and struggling to pay the bills.
Always putting her sister’s needs and school first, Skylar has never had time to date or develop relationships. Now a senior in college, she has her sights set on an amazing internship opportunity. The last thing she needed was for a sexy distraction like Sebastian Thorne to walk into her life.
Sebastian Thorne had been an entitled and reckless nineteen year old when he got behind the wheel of his new sports car that night. When his night of indulgence goes tragically wrong, Sebastian hesitantly turns to the one person, he knows can make everything go away…the one person he hates ..his father.
Now twenty-six, Sebastian is the young enigmatic and powerful CEO of his late father’s design company, Thorne Enterprises. With both millions in the bank and a new woman on his arm almost every night, the world never knew the dark secret he carried inside. Still plagued with nightmares from the night of that horrific accident and having to leave the beautiful girl behind, Sebastian vows to find the one that haunts his dreams. Sometimes the choice of revisiting our past opens the door to a future that we never thought possible.
Haunted by their past, these two want nothing more than to have their life given back to them. But what do you do when the person who gave you back your life, was the very one that took it from you in the first place?

My Thought's about the book!!

Wow and Wow, It was great and wonderfully written I really enjoyed the hole thing cover to cover (hehe not actual cover). I couldn't get enough of Sebastian and all his Alpha maleness lol, I really like how he just wanted to do the right thing but at the same time it wasn't always right for him or for Skylar.  This story of how a long time ago both their worlds were turned upside down and then now fate has a different plan for them. It felt more like a real life love story not some made up story about a CEO and what not. If you really like romance and I do mean romance to swipe you off your feet this story is for you for sure. The hole sex scenes where omg hott!! Not even going to lie this book had me blushing more then what Fifty Shades of Grey had me feeling.  I really enjoyed the hole thing I was however hoping that I wasn't going to leave this book with a cliffhanger man I really hate those. I mean come on Now I'm stuck waiting to find out about Sebastian and Skylar.

I really enjoyed all the hard times the 2 main characters had to over come that was great. But what I didn't like was how Skylar was always the one getting hurt physically, although everything that has happened to her I felt her pain and sorrow( I was even teary eyed reading this story).  The most thing I did dislike about this hole story was the fact that no matter what Skylar was shown as this not so strong woman and that kinda sucked I mean come on with all the sh** she had to go through to get where she is she should be a hell of a lot stronger then that. The different POVs had my mind just going but it did help out the story made it more and that was great I kinda wish I had Skylar's BFF Kylie's POV, I'd kill to read what she thinks of Sebastian and how in the end things worked out.

In the end I give this story 5 stars, I really liked how it was written and how the story became unfolded. I for one can't wait for book 2 to come out I really want to continue this journey of Skylar and Sebastian, I think that their love will hopefully be strong enough to fix everything.

Let's meet the Author!!

Mia Michelle
Mia fell in love with the literary world at a very young age and began putting her active imagination to pen and paper at the age of six. Over the years, she has filled up numerous shelves with her notebooks and journals of her favorite stories.
