Happy New Year!!!

Welcome the 2014 Goodbye 2013...losts of tears the past year in a way glad I will be saying goodbye and hopes that 2014 will be much better.  Everyone whos having fun and partying be safe and have loads of fun bringing in the new year!!!

This new year will hopefully be much better for everyone....today me and the husband watched loads of new movie trailers for 2014 and I cant wait to see loads of good movies. With that I really cant wait for all the good no GREAT books coming out in 2014!!

New to Blogging

Ok so this might be a little late But just so everyone knows I'm new to the hole blogging world, I still haven't figured a lot of things out but I'm going to start I think what I'm going to do is when I do reviews for books I'm going to post those on here also I haven't decided yet if its just books I have signed up to do reviews for or if I want to do it for all the books I have read. So if anyone has any pointers on what to do or how to fix or add anything please feel free to let me know. Well wish me luck that it goes well. I know I have had a blog once and I deleted it due to me not being for sure about it and with that one I just did a review on whatever book I read and of course I didn't have many followers heck I still don't have many followers lol, I guess all in time I will.

Once again feel free to leave me any pointers on how to do this.

Thinking

OK so I do a lot of thinking and it gets me in trouble sometimes that is lol, anyways their just have been way to much going on lately just found out at work have to pass this test or I could lose my job that I very much like.  Well good news my Dad and Dog are both doing much better :) and well their isn't much to do just it's getting warmer and warmer outside heat and me just don't get along for some reason :) well husband started his new job and he likes it for the most part he did however get hurt and now has a huge bruise on his hand and arm it sucks but he wont listen to me about how to heal it well help with the swelling and he wont get it checked out that's all on him not me lol.Well not much else to report in about lol hoping that I will be able to start getting back on here more probably when the test and all this other crap in my life are past lol even my reading has taken a down hill which sucks that is something that I enjoy most out of everything else I do, just getting lost in another mind in another world is a great feeling I love that about the books I read!!! Must tell myself that I can get back to my books I must I must lol, well catch you all later :)

Been To Long?

Yea so Sorry I've been away for awhile it's been a lot of crazy things going around at home and at work for me right now. 1st off my loving husband finally got a promotion he get's to move up in his job I'm so happy for him.  Which also kinda sucks because it's in a hole other town but you know what after 11yrs at the company this is a well deserved for him. Just means I have to get use too being by myself that's OK I'll have my books to fall back on :) 2nd thing my Dad moved out of his house and we have been dealing with that plus he has just recently went to the Dr.'s for his Stress Test and well let's just say it didn't go to well, he might of had a mid heart attack :( that just totally sucks on top of him moving. 3rd me and my dads dog has been sick for some time and we don't know what the heck is going on and tomorrow he is getting checked out for the 3rd time but with a different Vet :( well that's like everyone says 3rd times a charm right? OK and 4th thing that has been going on that has been for at least 1-2 months is study for this huge test to become a Certified Medical Assistant :) man I have been out of school 3 1/2- 4 yrs and picking up my books for review was not what I had in mind to be doing lol well it has to be done so Studying I'll be doing lol.

I know a lot to catch up on but I just figured I might as well get it all out now then dwell on the fact that my life right now is going through so much I wasn't excepting it to at this moment I mean come on I'm 23 going to be 24 in August doesn't want to deal with this load of stress. My poor face is getting it taking out on it lol I have also been Zit free and this past couple weeks a new on pops out or a hole clan decides to move on my face lol not to worry I'm hoping they will be gone soon, also have this nervous itch all over put it's from stress to :( Hoping next month and the next weeks will be better for me.

Please send your prayers my way for my Dad and Dog!! Also Gma in the sky please be looking down and shed some light somewhere just to tell me it's going to be alright...

Let me Guess!!!

OK so I couldn't figure out what to call this post he he!!  Anyways last Saturday I went and bought a hole bunch of books from the good ole book store ( Barnes N Nobles) lol and haven't picked up one to read yet and on top of those that I bought I got some great ones in the mail that I ordered from Amazon and haven't started on those yet, no instead I go back and read one that's been calling to me from my shelf for a while now lol.

Well, I got thinking today after work yes I Johnnie-Marie have a problem, I shop for books to much, I am a bookalcoholic. lol I even drew a picture for my Husband to hopefully one day here soon he will be nice enough and build it for me I have been on a hunt for a new book shelf for months now ever since my kewl, sweet looking tote bag got full of books and now I'm stacking them all over the place. lol :) so many books so little space lol.

Moving on this week was good celebrated one of my big sister's birthday she turned the big 30, lol she says she's not worried about it oh but I have a feeling it will be coming to catch up with her really soon. Probably about the time my 4yr old nephew starts preschool. lol  Speaking of my nephew his first little league game is this Saturday that I am super excited to see :) Too bad his sister isn't playing softball this yr she was really great at the game!! oh well maybe high school.

That's enough rambling for me in one day head clear and ready to start another book yes, another from the shelf hoping to get through it this weekend and start a new one super stoked to start that and hoping to finish some book series that I started but haven't gotten around to finish, that is my goal to finish a book series :) Starting from here on out :)

Today

Today I woke and felt great but then it kinda hit me that today of all days it has been 6 long yrs since I had lost my dear and wonderful grandma all thanks to a hospital's fault(will not name). I miss her so much I never stop thinking about her and makes it hard to move past the fact that I wont have Sundays dinners at her house and that she's not their anymore.  Also today marks 8 long yrs that a good friend of mine lost a her mom which is even harder to the fact we weren't even 16 yet when it happened and I can only imagine how she is feeling today.  Her mom and was a great and well loved person by all that have meet her she will be deeply missed for yrs to come, wish she was here I know their is a lot of things us kids would have liked to share with her and let alone her own kids.

Also as I was reading on Facebook this AM how they caught the bomber it's great they caught him but it's only making him more famous I have heard that before for when the elementary school got shot and that batman movie release shooting I mean come on I know everyone wants to know what happens but all we do is make those ppl famous look at Kasey Anthony she is famous and for what the cost of her little girl gone it's just not right in so many ways for those kind of ppl to become famous like the stars, leave the TV to the real stars!!

Unsure about alot of things?

OK, so I'm unable to get on goodreads tonite which really sucks because I want to look at my must read list of books to find out which ones I feel like buying from Amazon. Oh well..

Anyways I also don't know if I want to purchase a Magazine subscription again for Cosmo and Elle tahy have a really good deal for 1 yr $20 for 2 mags what Should I do?  I don't think I'll get it this time around I mean I still have my Cosmo that's good until October.

Well I live in Michigan and so far we've had nothing but rain for the last week which really sucks.  Sucks so much that my dad's basement is about 5 inches full of water and he has to pump it out that really sucks I was over their after work tonite and helped him start the pump. "Rain Rain go away come again another day" lol.

I recently did the YA scavenger hunt and while I had loads of fun doing that and now I follow a lot more authors blogs (sweet) I didn't win a single book that really sucks :( I was looking forward to some new books and authors to like a lot oh well just have to keep checking out their blogs and pages for contest to try and win me some books. Speaking of books I was just telling my husband that it is for sure time to get me another book shelf since the 2 I have are full and the bag I've been using is over flowing I'm starting to stack them all over the place and to me that's not kewl with my OCD for cleanliness. Will start a new book shelf hunt tomorrow and hey maybe I'll find a nice one at a thrift store!!

Well off to happy reading and book shopping!!!

The YA Scavenger Hunt!!- Loads of Fun

So I did my first YA Scavenger Hunt and it was loads of fun!!

I was surprised by how many more authors that are out their that I didn't even know about yet, I'm really glad that I deiced to do it as I have more books to add to my must read list and hopefully a hole bunch of cool prizes that I'm really hoping that I at least won 1. lol.

What I did realize afterwards is that I dint get to add a lot of the authors which Now I'm regretting due to the fact that I so would of liked to following them either on Google, Facebook, Twitter or even by Email.  Hopefully I'll get the chance to visit their sites again.

For my First hunt it didn't take me as long as I thought it was going to.  Was loads of fun in the mean time seeing lot's of blogs and doing something different for once online. I'm always use to doing like Facebook and Twitter but after awhile they can get old, I was just glad that I was able to do something that involved something I like a lot while at the same time catching up on TV time.(I don't get much TV time when the hubby's home he plays Xbox and I read) lol

Which speaking of books and everything I am actually doing fairly well on my goodreads.com reading challenge, of course it is something I get a joy out of. Anyways back about the Hunt I had a great time and can't wait for the next one wish it wasn't so far away. :(
