About the Series: The Dearheart Clan
Dearhart Clan is a series of fast-paced adult books that dabble in the world of paranormal and remain in the erotic pulse of what can only be classified as a primal fantasy. If it is a typical romance you are looking for you will not find it in this series.
Eri Nelson writes in a darker world where heat and need are the forefront for a slipping existence. There is not time for all the tenderness love deserves but if you are imprinted to another, you are far beyond those mortal requirements.
Our author is driven by swift action packed intrigues that often leave you wanting more. As she writes, each new book into the series the number of pages might increase but the action never lets you feel the increasing distance to the final page.
The Call From Within (Dearhart Clan #1)
From the unorthodox author Eri Nelson comes an introduction into the dark primal world of the DHC (Dearhart Clan Series). Where an adult tale creates the foundation for untamed passions no longer bound by humanity but unleashed under the push of extinction.
An unknowing waitress by the name of Kristen Still slips of to sleep with her illusions of normality. Only to be awoken by heated dreams for an unknown traveler’s face who had visited the diner in which she works. Although as the dream subsides her reality is disrupted by a wolfly protector unmasking a deadly mistake in which held Kristen against her will.
Under uncontrollable duress the wolf unfurls to, Owen, the man from her dreams. With fear and doubt discarded under their hastily following pursuers, Kristen flees with Owen’s guidance only to learn more than she had ever bargained for let alone the desires she and Owen create.
My Review
OK so at first I started reading this and was really unsure if I was even going to like it or not, But so far it was really short for my taste I could have had it a little bit longer to really get to know what the hole thing was going to be about. So far from what I have gathered it's about imprinting with a lot of hott sex scenes and I do mean HOTT!! Also seems to be about getting revenge on different Clans like other Weres and Shifters. It was a bit confusing I'm not going to lie I had a really hard time understand what was going on. Once it came to Owen's POV it was great made more since then Wash I really haven't figured him out yet. It just kinda bounces back and forth between the now and the past.
It was written Great don't get me wrong and is deff part of the paranormal romance. I really liked the romance parts hell I even really liked the fighting parts a lot. The hole Alpha male thing I think is totally hott especially when it really is an Alpha, who's all about finding is mate and protecting what is his :) Anyone who reads this has to have an open mind and keep that open mind about it or you wont get it.
The hole history coming out in the chapters about the Clan name was awesome I have never read a story where at first you learn about anything that has to deal with the Clan. Oh and I really like how it is a Clan and not a pack I think just about every Werewolf story I have read refers to them as a pack.

My Review
OK, so I was even more confused on this one. It was a great read a bit longer then the first one. I really enjoyed meeting more Wolves, more rouge wolves in fact. I really felt the pain that the characters went threw in this one. The new wolf we met is Thomas whom right away doesn't want this job Owen has given him but at first look he sees Julia and knows that is his mate. Thomas is torn on how he is going to tell Julia this when he sees her transform into this beautiful wolf. Julia is not the only one that Thomas meets he get's to meet Julia's twin brother whom is also a wolf. Hmmm sounds great right!! Oh it is. The sex scene was really great there were fights and of course sex. lol. Well this story comes with a twist you get to know Wash more even the dangers that he brings to Kristen, whom warns Owen what will happen of course he's a male and doesn't listen so bad Sh** happens. The clan seems like it is finally getting to the point of were they should be as a hole.
This one was much better written I wasn't lost on what was going on, of course it helps that I read the first one. The story had it's details well described, made it seem like you could picture everything right in front of you. Although I do wish it didn't switch characters so much and just followed one person's story, but I have a feeling that it was suppose to be like that. Maybe it's all going to blend into each other by the last one. This one left off in a huge cliffhanger and I do mean huge so many unanswered questions that will hopefully get answered.
This 2nd story is about Thomas which seems to me like Owen's Beta since after all Owen is the Alpha. It was Thomas's turn to find the one he was meant to be with. Julia and Kristen are both strong females for the story they both come from crappy backgrounds and then meet this 2 guys and it all get's better for them. Make sure you read the first story or it won't make any sense at all. They are for sure a must read.

Heated Calls From Change (Dearhart Clan #3)
From the unorthodox author Eri Nelson comes a third glimpse into the dark primal world of the DHC (Dearhart Clan Series). With an adult laced premise, this dark tale once again leaves humanity’s reasoning aside in support of fast-paced desires that imprint their futures against a looming extinction.
With maddening revenge toward his creator, Wash holds the kidnapped key to Owen’s heart. However, her forced captivity is just a small obstacle to Kristen finding her way back to Owen.
Waging the war of inner turmoil Owen travels back to the pack where Kristen was last seen. Although he is not the only one who seeks the home of the clan, for four others travel now as well. Along with Thomas who brings his unwanted imprinted, Bry invades the wolfly space with an Ink that not only writes an ancient prophecy but leaves the clans alpha in peril.
My Review
The third story in the series and it made the most sense to me, yes it introduced yet again new pack members and a werewolf/shape-shifter killer. Which if you ask me is awesome!! I was hoping that a lot of my questions would be answered but just like the 1st and 2nd book I was left with a cliffhanger. I don't know the out come of the story whatever it may be I hope it's great. The journey that each member of the clan embark is great they each have a story that come forth and in that story is how they find their mate. This one in a way had the 1st and 2nd books finally come together which thankfully I was hoping for. They come together as a clan to fight for their safety and the women within the clan.
Each of the main characters that are women still stay strong no matter what they have faced, like Kristen she finds out something is really wrong and breaks free with the help of other spirit wolves of course. Also comes together how she was brought to her "Aunt". Which to me helped make the story form even more. I also liked how the Alpha did show some signs of weakness just goes to show that yes, even males can be weak. The back story on the new members that we meet, Bry, Kraina, Thomas, Gabe, and even Julia have been great I really like how in this one we got to hear a story from Julia's POV about they night her wolf came out, that was incredible.
OK just like the 1st and 2nd story their was some things that I didn't like for one the damn cliffhangers in all three, that's just mean (lol). I didn't mind the POV changes this time around they were much easier to follow. I do wish that I could get more of a story on Kristen and Owen, Thomas and Julia I think they just have so much that is still under the surface. I feel as if I didn't get to know Kristen and Owen like I did the rest of the clan. In the end I have to say I was surprised that I did in fact enjoy this series, I was at first not excited to read it anymore after the first one but the second one really helped me get into it more. So thank you to the Author for this great story that has been written and giving me the chance at reading this and reviewing it. Thank you.
