Review: Fire Burns BY: Trista Day

Synopsis

Callie Demasi just started her senior year at Crystalport High and her life couldn't be any more ordinary. Then the nightmares start, and a strange creature tries to attack her in her sleep. If that isn't bad enough, her body starts to do things she never imagined were possible; like hold fire in the palm of her hand. It seems that the only person who knows what's really happening to her is a ghost creature named Draven- if she can keep him from disappearing on her. It's not until after her best friend Zilla is kidnapped, and she meets the handsome and arrogant Cole, that Callie begins to put the pieces together. Will her newfound powers be strong enough to save the life of her BFF, or will they both be doomed to the same fate?

My Review

I was very surprised at how this turned out! It for sure had me wondering if I should be Team Cole or Team Draven. I'm really shooting for Team Cole, he is after all the one Callie is kinda bonded to now. That is another thing sorry I really don't want to give any spoilers away it's just some thing you'll have to read and fine out, lol. But I will tell you this, I couldn't put it down and lately that's hard for me to do with work and all this craziness in my personal life I did find time for this and I'm really happy that I did.

Callie is this strong girl who's got a lot of new things going on around her not to mention a magic power that for some reason works when it wants. She is a really nice girl with any normal girl problems, boyfriends , hair shoes, that kind of thing. She does meet this guy Cole who it turn out is a Vampire. Yes I said it Vampire which he is of course a different kind of Vampire. See in this story the demons and witched and heck the hole thing is just a different kind of paranormal which for a chance was really good.

Okay so a lot of not so good things happen in this story and a lot of good things happen in this story this is just one of  those one's that you'll just have to read.  It had tons of humor and sad parts of course and in the end a love story that's mixed in it somewhere. lol . I'm really trying not to give to much of the story away. This Author really did a great job with the hole outcome of the story. I really enjoyed it and I'm hoping that the next person enjoys it as much as I did. I so can't wait for the second book I didn't really get a hint at a few chapters of the next one :( well kinda it did give me some type of cliffhanger and I do have a lot of thoughts on certain things in the story that might happen.  Plus side I'm hoping to read about the realm that Thantos is in yes the bad guy.
