My Thoughts
I never would have thought I was going to be hooked right from the start of the story. I was intrigued with everything about this story from start to finish. The amount of details on the pages just blew my mind away. The author gives a tad warning in the front about a drinking game and well let's just say if I had followed that rule/game I would be to hammered to give a review you'd all most likely get one word WOW over and over again. To me that just wouldn't be fair at all. So on with my review, I so loved Riggs and everything about him, the love, the care, the bad ass he is, the loyal friend, the alpha, strong, and all around joker. Then enters the main woman of the hour Lauren, mafia born, caring, sweet and all around really great girl, she get's her own life mixed up and tries to start over but with starting over comes with a mess. Lauren and Riggs meet and everything from then on is on a down hill slide, but things always get better right? Riggs is all about joking and having fun more important he's all about protecting those he cares for the most and in the end hurting himself in need be. So the main thing about this story is about taking a detour in life and embracing that. well to say the least that Lauren goes all out and takes a major detour that changes her life forever. Rather it's a good one or not. The detour Riggs takes is something similar and boy does all hell seem to let loose when he does. The emotions the characters have are amazing and the way it's written and expressed is even better. I loved all the emotions they shared didn't share and came out full throttle. Now enough of any spoilers I might have given you. This was my 2nd time reading any work by the author I know I know a little late to the game but so worth it. I was hooked from the start and had to finish this story hell my own Gpa was dying so along with that going on this story was on my mind non stop. I was able to finish it in once piece even if my emotions were high and all over the place I really enjoyed reading this story. MUST READ 2 person POV story that will blow your mind. 5 stars from me and nothing less of that, I totally couldn't see giving this anythings less, the sex, tension, the alphaness, guns, fights, love and hate kept me turning the pages. The amount of words on the page was amazing as well as the end of the story which really blew my mind, sad as it was I totally get it. I can't wait for more I'm craving more hell I really can't wait to read Blackie and Lacey's story that one is going to be a totally mind bend.
