Review: Lies By: C.A. Harms

What It's About?

FBI Agent Joshua Phoenix goes undercover…Deep.

Thrust into a world of drugs and criminal activity, integrating himself into the Russian Mafia turned out to be much more than Josh bargained for.

It’s dark and it’s dangerous.

The lives they destroy along the way will never be the same.

The things he is forced to do will haunt him forever.

Even more importantly, he never planned on meeting her…

A chance encounter with Real Estate Agent Gabriella Shannon, has Josh questioning his ability to complete his mission.

And now the dark world may consume them both.

He’s in too deep.

Leaving now would only risk the safety of those around him.

But when his cover’s blown Josh is forced to make a decision that will reroute his future.

One decision.

The hardest decision he will ever have to make in his life.

And those he meant to protect will be the ones who suffer the most…

My Thoughts

I didn't think I was going to enjoy this story at all, but in the end I was so totally wrong. I enjoyed everything about it, the love, lies, truth, heartache, the hott sex, the characters are even amazing. Not my first or last time reading anything by this incredible and wonderfully talented author. I know she got me even more hooked on her stories, they are fast paced and really easy to like and follow along with. The main characters are a hit, the banter, the sex, the love and the all out joy they just carry within themselves is truly amazing. Josh this amazing guy who finally catches a break at work is outside life is thrown for a damn loop. Finding love at the worst time ever and having to work and lie about it just eats him up. This hott as sin alpha man cannot handle the emotions it's causing him to feel inside and outside of the job. Gabby this smart and straight forward woman is all about business and no social life. Meeting Josh by chance left her head spinning and her mind going crazy. It was insta love for them both. The love these 2 have is amazing and wonderful, knowing just how much they care for one another really made this story brighten up even more. OK enough spoilers I think I gave enough away. This 2 person POV story really captured my attention and had me hooked from the start I couldn't get the pages turning fast enough and couldn't read the words fast enough. I read this and had to dive right away into book 2 I couldn't stop my self I was heart broken from the ending and needing more to help hold me over. By this time my reading funk disappeared into thin air and I was super happy for that I was on a roll reading this story. I loved it!! MUST READ!!!!!
