Review: Curvy By: Alexa Riley

What It's About?

The first time Flynn Long sees her, she's lying on a bed in lingerie. The picture is soft, just like her curves, and instantly he's obsessed.

Cali Carr is at the end of her full-figure modeling career when she's hired for a new campaign. But when the owner of the company steps out of the shadows and starts calling the shots, a job is the last thing it feels like.

Love at first sight isn't supposed to be real. One touch isn't supposed to ignite so much. A single picture isn't supposed to drive a man insane. But luckily for us it's happening in Curvy!

Warning: Over the top isn't strong enough for what this short story is. It's velvety sweetness coated in insta-love cheese, and it's waiting for you to take a bite.

My Thoughts

For one moment I didn't think I was going to like this story at all, but the more and more the pages got turned I found that I really enjoyed it and loved it. The authors really know what they are doing when it comes to writing for sure, the magical way they with words makes you totally and completely speechless when your done. I had a hard time getting into the story I don't know if it was the Male POV at the start or the Female POV just didn't have so many emotions she had a don't care and don't mess with me approach I guess I was a little surprised by that. Flynn this older man which that really shocked the hell out of me, is this drop dead guy not looking for anything in life just running his company, comes across Cali and all bets are off he must have her; now if that's not an alpha I don't know what it, they way he is in the story about her is out of this world. Cali something about her just didn't rub me the right way maybe I didn't get much out of her or get to know her like I have gotten to know the other females in Alexa Riley's stories but somehow she and Flynn really hit it off and made the story blow up in front of my eyes. It's a MUST READ fast pace and right to the point detailed story that makes your head spin, droll fall, and a love like no other to form from the pages. Not to mention that this cover is by far one of my favorites, It will grab your attention that's for sure. Once this was over I did want more I felt like I was missing pieces with the way it ended but with all the short stories of the authors I have read I know their isn't more :( as much as I crave and want.
