 ~My Thoughts~

So I never have read a romance story that didn't have a ton of sex scenes and let me just say that, I'm happy with the way things turned out for this one. I had my doubts that at first I wasn't going to like it due to it seeming slow, but once I got reading it I was in for the ride. The journey was great I really was falling for Drake the all American boy well he's 21 so Man, and then you have Misty this loser of a girl who is trying to better herself. Misty is this girl who has had a very hard life only to have it become harder. Yes, she falls in Love with Drake but some serious stuff happens and it's all a matter of will it last?

A few things that I found I didn't really care for was how it left off on such a huge, I mean HUGE cliffhanger I was kinda left wondering a lot of things. Does Misty tell Drake?(yeah have to read the book to find out what I mean, Yes I know I'm mean) Does she stay where she's at? What becomes of Aunt Silvia? All these questions where kinda left out and now we're all waiting for book 2 to see what happens. Also I didn't like how the change of events moved. The pace of the reading was quick and easy to understand but one minute your in the diner the next Misty's house, or Kyle's house I was confused some of the story on where everyone was.

Don't get me wrong I over all enjoy the story it had some really great things I likes about it. 1. The POV was awesome it was in 2 person format and to me that just opens up the story more. I got to see what Drake was going through and see what Misty was going through for just about the same part without reading a hole other book. 2. It was written really well, the characters were written amazingly I don't think I can express myself about that any more.  For 2 people who are complete strangers and falling in love this was a great way for it to happen.  Once I really got going I was happy that I could follow along and felt as if I was on this tough journey with Misty. I can't wait to read more about her journey in book 2 when it comes out.
