My Review

So normally I don't like to read books that have multiple stories in them, why you ask? Well it's because I end up liking the story and want more and their is never more about what I was reading.  to me that just sucks big time.  Like most times with this one I ended up wanting more to read on the stories. Also this is very much not like my normal reads it was Romance, was good romance definitely gave me something else to think about added to my list of genres to read. One thing that also get's me about books that have multiple stories is what if i didn't like them I'd feel bad for not liking them all.  That's not the case with these 4 stories I felt really drawn to them and enjoyed reading them ALL.

The first story was Christmas Wishes By Danica Winters, it was a little different at first I didn't get the hole cemetery thing at Christmas time but she did give more of a back story as to what has happened. I really liked how it was about a cowboy whose a father and a widower falls for a beautiful alone woman all because his little girl made the first attempt and talked to Lee.  The little girl seen Lee crying and told her to make a wish well that wish was to basically find love again. The little girl became the Angle her son had sent her. It was written good and I really liked reading about Lee's journey on finding love again and becoming herself again.

Okay the Second story was Central Bark At Christmas By Jennifer Conner, I really liked this story, how she had a rough start to her life, and no matter what her dog has been their for her. The Author did a really great job picking the names out for the main characters they were very different. The story about Tennyson and Par was great it was a different mix of culture and surprising I really liked it normally I would even read something about Dogs and Love but this story for sure opened my mind up. It was really different and great at the same time, it even had a great ending that was a high surprise to me.

The Third story is Halo's Wish By Sharon Kleve, I really really liked this story and felt like I wasn't getting enough of it. The hole Hero thing really had me, I kinda wish this story had been longer. I thought it was cool how Halo is a pet detective and has fallen for a vet. They even over come bad things that happen and makes them stronger. Halo tried to tell herself that she only wanted a career she didn't have time to fall in love but that's not the case she learns in the end she was better off falling in love then ignoring the signs that where in front of her the hole time. In the end she get's her dream come true a dreamy guy and a house full of pet's. Sharon actually contacted me about reading this story and writing a review on it at first I wasn't to sure because of the title then the stories kinda grew on me so I have say Thank you Sharon for letting me read this for you it opened my eyes up to something different that I'm glad I can add this to my Read list. So Thank you!!

Now the Fourth story Christmas Hope By Casey Dawes, This one the cover shot really threw me through a loop it was a picture of a farm and snow. lol I know I know covers can be misleading lol in this case it was.  I really liked how the main characters were both stubborn and both people don't give up easily.  It took Clara opening up to Sam and kept pushing him about Christmas he was a bah hum bug lol. and in Clara's eyes that was not going to happen. They both were not looking for love and in the end they fell for each other.  This was a small country love story and have to say my first small country love story and I really liked it. I liked how the author had them basically coming from 2 different type of worlds and bring them together, normally it doesn't work out that well in books but she made it work.

 Meeting the Author's

Danica Winters
Danica Winters is a best-selling author who is known for writing award-winning books that grip readers with their ability to drive emotion through suspense and often a touch of magic. When she’s not working, she can be found in the wilds of Montana testing her patience while she tries to understand the allure of various crafts (quilting, pottery and painting are not her thing). She always believe the cup is neither half-full nor half-empty, but it better be filled with wine.

Jennifer Conner
I am a best-selling Northwest author who has two full length book in print and thirty ebooks

My Chirstmas short stories have hit #1 in Kindle sales. Shot in the Dark was in the Kindle sales top 20 ebooks. The Regimental Heroes and The Dimension Keepers are my best selling historical romance series.

Shot in the Dark was a finalist in the Emerald City Opener, Cleveland, and Toronto RWA contests.

I live in a hundred year old house that I grew up in. Our semi-small town holds an interesting mix of resident hillbillies, yuppies and Navy Seals. And of course Seattle, only a few miles away, is the birthplace of Starbucks. I blow glass beads with a blow torch, (which relieves a lot of stress and people don't bother you).

Sharon Kleve
I love romance. I love reading romance, living romance (who doesn't), but I especially love writing paranormal romance. There's no greater feeling than watching my characters come alive in each other's arms. Most of all, I love giving my characters the happily ever afters they deserve, with a few bumps and bruises along the way.
One of my favorite things is picking up a new book and sinking into the story, immersing myself in the emotions between the characters. I hope someday to inspire readers the same way my favorite authors have inspired me.
When not writing, I can usually be found either curled up in my recliner with my cat and a good book, or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread or bagels. My least favorite activity is running laps around the high school track to burn off the bread and bagels and occasionally chocolate.

Casey Dawes

One year, I became a writer.

Nothing changed. I still had my day job. My kids still ran me ragged. I was still getting divorced. My writing got rejected more often than not.

But everything changed.

I wrote my first short story at age ten. Over the years I’d published now and again – mostly non-fiction, mainly technical, career-related pieces – and one lonely short story. But until that year, I’d never referred to myself as a writer.

Oh, I would tell people, I want to be a writer when I grow up. Maybe when I retire. Maybe when I have the time. Maybe when I have enough money. Something wouldn’t die, though. I kept taking courses when I’d gather a few dollars together. If I could snag a weekend, I’d attend a conference or workshop. My bookshelves were filled with writer’s books.

I needed to make the change in my head, not my outside circumstances. I needed to honor the gift of who I was. I was given a lot of talents. That’s a blessing and a curse. It took me forty-seven years to determine which talent describes me best.

I am a writer.
