Review: Quinn II By: J.C. Cliff

What It's About?

QUINN IS BACK and pushing the limits on it all -- suspense, sex, love, gut-wrenching emotions -- with a fiery intense conclusion to his and Lexi's story. The more Alexis runs, the harder Quinn fights for her.

It's an undeniable truth; bad things happen to good people, and Lexi is not impervious to the realities of the life she left behind.

Keeping Lexi safe at all cost, Quinn remains unwavering in his duties, constantly putting his life on the line, time and time again.

Two tortured souls are pushed to the edges of their sanity and their love will be put to the test. Tempers flare, emotions burst, and love flickers, but after the ultimate explosion, can forgiveness be found amongst the rubble?

Alexis needs Quinn more than ever...and Quinn must decide if Lexi is truly his fate or if their romance was never meant to survive beyond his mission. One thing is for certain: neither Quinn nor Alexis will be the same after surfacing from the mountain trails. Now that they've survived the wild, can they survive each other?

My Thoughts

Right where Quinn I left off this story began and man was it intense but amazing all at the same time. This author is really great at what she does with her stories and really knows how to get the reader hooked that's for sure. The characters didn't change, you however got to know them more and felt there emotions even more. I was happy in a way to know that Blyss was still around and had come up in this story, the evil effects it has is always a eye opener. Hell the last half of this story I did nothing but cry, Man what emotions ran through me with Quinn and Lexi just got really overwhelming and to the point that I couldn't believe that just really happened. Every page was like a punch to the gut the shock factor never went away it only became stronger and stronger on each and every page. This was not like a normal romance story it was better and way more steamier. I really loved how on every page just hooked you into the story even more. Once you reached the end and the shock almost wore off J.C. really hits you with a twist that is out of this world amazing. Quinn really takes over this story, unlike with the first book which felt more about Lexi. Still totally worth the read over and over again. The dual POV was wonderful that really made the story flow. MUST READ!!! I so cannot wait to see what this author has up her sleves next, i know its going to be amazing just like everything else she has written is. Trust me and read both series Blyss and Quinn.
