I was never meant to have a happily ever after. It was a fate I accepted a long time ago. Before he came for me, taking away who I am, I needed to escape. Just for one night. One man turned my entire world upside down. I should have walked away, but something about him wouldn’t let me. Now I’m lying to him. He’s going to find out the truth, or my life will catch up to me. Either way, I lose him. It’s a thought I can’t bear. People have always told me love is amazing and powerful. They’re wrong. It makes you weak…exposing your vulnerabilities…making you easy prey. Love is heinous.

This story left me with no words at all, I loved everything about it. The dark secrets they held the fear that was to come, the happiness and the over all story itself. So not my first or last time reading anything by this author, she really knows how to drawl the crowd in and hug tightly to her words on every page. She never stops amazing me with anything she has written. The characters are made to be fun and daring each and every chance they get. With nothing making sense at the start of the story about them by the end of the story your like holy crap what the hell did I just read, that was AMAZING!!!! The fighting attraction that both the main characters have towards each other was a mind game all on it's own, right from the start. Twisted what a messed up name for a hott and alpha worth guy, totally fits him this you find out when you really get into the story. He's all man all the time the VP of the club and doesn't take no for an answer. Strong caring and full of strength he's a great guy that has had a crappy life. Nikki is this take no crap from anyone even a tough badass biker, you think the worse is going to happen to her at any moment they way she goes on, but in fact you get to know her on a emotional level and a real level. More attitude then anyone she's strong and caring with a compassion like no other. Twisted and Nikki together is like the perfect couple. The love they have and the strength that they have together is like fireworks going off. With both having hidden secrets the romance they have burns bright and hott, they make everything work out to the fullest. The demons they might fight and the love they share really is what makes this story amazing. The emotions that flow on the pages really seem to grab you 10fold and not let go. After reading book 1 I knew I wanted more but now after book2 I'm craving more and more, almost like a need to have more. Everything was different on every page you watched the characters grow, got to see the old characters from book 1 again and of course you really get caught up in every word on every page and can't believe it's over before it even started. This MUST READ read 2 person POV story really messes with your mind and heart over and over again; of course it's totally worth that in the end.

My Rating

Alexis Noelle lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband, and three kids. On top a writing career, she is a full-time student and a full-time mom. She loves spending time with her kids, although she has to hide the computer from them when she is writing! She love being active and being outdoors, especially if it involves any kind of shopping.
She has always been passionate about writing. She loves to read romance books and feels like being able to lose yourself in a book is one of the more exciting aspects. The books she loves to read and write will be ones that make you feel for the characters. Ashley believes that you should have an opinion on every character in a book whether you love them, hate them, or think they are up to something. She also believes that the most important critic is your reader, so she loves to hear from the readers. She want her fans to be open & talk to her about what they want for the characters in the story, and what they would like to see happen.
