What It's About?
I am strong, but I have scars.
I am an angel, but the devil.
I met her when I was sixteen, she was a breath of fresh air. She swooped in, making me smile. But then she left, taking my next breath with her.
Her smile could light up a room, making my black heart pitter patter.
I found her again ten years later, with a syringe in her arm.
Blood coming from her legs.
She was broken and I was glad she was broken. She wouldn't think less of me and my damaged ways.
My Thoughts
I finished this story in 1 day and really wish my friend would have warned me how hooked I would become to the story and how much the ugly tears would start pouring out of my eyes. As much as I wanted to put it down so the tears would stop I couldn't *hangs head* I just couldn't do it at all; I had to finish it even if it was going to kill me. I know what your thinking that I'm losing my mind right well I don't think I am at all. I was completely blown away with this authors writing and her attention the all the fine details that made up this story. My first time and not my last time reading this authors work hell for her to have me really get into this story and only take half of the 22hrs of my day to read this from cover to cover only stopping to sleep and work so less times then that to complete this story just amazes me from head to toe. I can't even get enough words to form in my mind about this story, I loved everything about it, how it didn't come across as a love story but had a small hint that it was there along with loads of crime and lots more hottness. I know it was filled to the top with overcoming things and getting life on the right track while bad things happen. OK that's all the spoilers your getting from me my lips are sealed no more. It's a MUST READ 2 person POV story. Black this dark and very dangerous alpha male does things for him and no one else, love's lost on him or so he thought all because of 10years ago. He's strong, dark and very independent on no one. The saying is true it's always the quite ones to watch out for. Rose, sweet, caring and a big heart, not scared to let other's know what's on her mind. She very protective and super sweet, lifes always been hard for her but the going just get even tougher. Love is what she really thought was amazing isn't what it looks like any more moving on from her past is one hell to the next. Ok that's really it no more spoilers for you, just grab a copy and read the story you don't want to miss out at all. Hooked from page one, it's a really page turner even getting to the end I crave more and more, over and over I hated the fact that it ended. On almost every page some type of twist in the story was coming out of the woodwork and really making the story that much more of a page turner. The amazing and wonderful journey the author has taken me on with her characters was like no other. The twist and turns really made the ending that much more real, hell just from the ending alone I want more and crave just as much!! No amount of words can really describe the way I think about this story, It's a 5star read over and over again.
