What It's About?
She was, still is, and will never be anything but my everything.
Our love was all consuming, passionate, and forbidden. We took risks to be together, carrying on an affair for months before her psychotic drug lord husband found the truth behind the lies. She barely escaped with her life … and that of my son.
My club president told me that our love was no longer worth the risk, gave me a choice, and loyalty to the club being what it is, I walked away from her. I left behind the only thing I’ve ever wanted more than life itself and remained the dutiful soldier to a corrupt leader.
Six years and a promotion to club president later, it’s time the lies stopped. She IS worth the risk, I’ve NEVER gone a day without thinking about her OR my son, and I know underneath it all she DOES still love me. She just won’t admit it … yet.
My Thoughts
Ok so I started to write this damn thing 2 times and I couldn't think of anything to put down at all. My mind was just blank. NOTHING!!! It's a great thing really I have never read a book that has done this to me. The author is so amazing with her writing that the ending took me by surprise. I know reading her work before I shouldn't have been that shocked at the ending but I was. I was amazed from start to finish about everything in this story, the details although those had my head going around and around, which lead me at the start not knowing if I was going to like the story or not. that all changed the more and more I got into the story. The characters in this story are wonderful even the jerks and jackasses. I loved it all. The ever pretty name Elena, is different you don't hear it to much hat is of course if your a vampire diaries freak like my mom and me, ok getting back on track she's strong to the bone, caring and very much a hard worker. She tries to do what's right by her family at all cost even if it herself. King the MC bad boy, he's quite almost the shy type, family man , and knows how to fight for what's his or in this case what's right even if it's wrong time in everyone else eyes. The journey that King and Elena take is truly one that you can't help but fall into. The way they speak, love and laugh with each other and then when they over come the major problems in their own messed up life is one sight to really be a part of. The ride is hard and only get's harder but in the end it's totally worth every read that is read and page that is turned. I would so do it over in a heart beat. The amount of pain they both go on is one to make your head swim and mind really work. Some of the things that happened I couldn't wrap my head around at all, it was like what the heck is going on. Happy with the whole thing and wanting more like not tomorrow, I might not have enough patients to wait for the next one, Edge of seat met impatiently waiting blogger. MUST READ!!! I'm not kidding. Coming to terms on what to write for this story was hard I must have thought of 500 different things to say but couldn't share with others I didn't want to. I know at first this book was hard to read and get into a grove with it but the more and more the pages turned it was like the light was shining for me to come on in , lol it was really a great fast paced read I found that I couldn't put it down and didn't want to really this author is wonderful her work is even better. Even if she has left me wanting and craving more and more.
