Author: D.M. Earl
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 11, 2015
Synopsis
My name is Quinn and in one night my life changed forever. I lost not only part of my family, but also a huge part of who I was. Struggling to make it through each dark day, uncertain of everything in my life, I’m barely living just existing until a professional suggests I start writing down my thoughts in a journal.
My journals help me muddle through the personal and emotional baggage. Allow me to manage the past with all my Anguish; to function in the present plotting Vengeance; and to hope for my Awakening to a future full of all my dreams for a better life.
That is, until my past comes full force into my present and threatens my future. And the only person who can help me is someone from my past. The same person who has been around in the shadows protecting me, even when I didn’t know he was there, apparently has always had my back.
~ My Thoughts ~
Wow, what a really great short story. My attention was captured right from the start to the finish. To really Start off I wasn't 100% sold on this story , Yes I was hooked but only because the authors writing is wonderful and you can't but help but read it, just to keep telling your self you'll only give it a few more pages well at that point it turned out to be till the end of the story. The characters are unique with the great mystery to them that makes wanting to get to know them all the better. Hell I was in love with the story I hate the sorrow that the main character has went through but love the fact of how strong she is in the end for it. The story starts of only as a 1 person POV but morphs into a 2 person POV which really helps sell the story you get 2 sides of what happened. It's a MUST READ short story, that will have your knees weak with anticipation, jaw hanging open at all the shock factors of the story over-all. The shock factor of the story is just amazing. The amount of time and details in the story are really worth the read!! you can tell the time the author took to write something so great. It only took me not even a hole day to read this story it's great and short and really easy to fall into.
