Review: Lost By: Layla Hagen

~ What's It About? ~

**Lost is a prequel novella to Lost in Us and can be read before or after. **

Whatever might help him forget his past and numb the pain, James has tried it all: booze, car races, fights, and then some. Especially women. College offers plenty of opportunities for everything. . . Especially when you have a trust fund to spend.

Serena spirals deeper and deeper into a hurricane of pain. But no matter how far she falls, there’s no redemption from the overwhelming guilt.

Two souls consumed by their pasts fight to learn how to survive. But all hope seems to be lost.
Until they meet each other.

~ My Thoughts ~

This was an amazingly written short story that really was in awe and in a way gave me a reason to want to pick up book 1 now Lost In Us. The author has done a really great job with the story I couldn't believe the amount of back story I was able to get and understand all of it. This is really going to help with book 1 & 2.

This is a 2 person story that is told with emotions that are high and low.  The author makes it so your not scratching your head wondering what the hell happened it just explains the history of both main characters and of course you fall in love with them right away I know I did. :)

Not much to really say about this story as it was short and right to the point which is a major plus!! It's a must read I think before you fully start the series just to have a understanding on where your at.
