Incarnate #2
~ What's It About? ~
OK wow. Loved it. The author did an amazing job with this story just like with the first one I couldn't get enough. I do have to say I loved the some what happy ending this time around. It was still left with a mild cliffhanger but I can get over that; see if left me with enough to hold me off, that is until I can read book 3. I'm telling you the author has done a really great job. The writing was wonderful the story was more eye catching and held you into it. There was a lot to take in this time around, more of what was happening around and with the characters in stead of you meeting the characters and getting a glimpse of what's going to happen.
The characters didn't change if anything more came out of the wood work and they were amazing, they all fit really great together even the bad guys. :) I was however confused when it was switching to a new POV and boy did it seem like a lot of them. I was ok with the 3 at the start then it just seemed as more and more where appearing out of thin air it made the story great but in my mind I had 1 to many people speaking out of turn. Over all I really enjoyed the journey that the main character Sunday has embarked on it was different and unique in every way. I really loved the Alpha male Cyrus even the packs leader was somewhat afraid of him now that's hott; but hey what can I say I have a soft spot for alpha males, hott werewolves that is.
This is a must read but I suggest reading book 1 before hand.
The Pastophori of Iset has set a trap for the Incarnate…only she doesn’t know it.
Burned out from being on the road again, a directionless Sunday finds herself inexplicably drawn to Salt Lake City. There she finds herself in a curious state. For the first time in her life, Sunday feels normal. She can walk around free of anxiety that she will be set-off by her inhuman sensitivity. She can be intimate without overheating. Are the days of the Incarnate finally behind her?
Cyrus has not handled losing Sunday well. For eight months, the werewolf has been a shadow of himself. His pack is concerned and his closest friend, Marcus, believes that Cyrus is in danger of being lost to his humanity. When their Alpha confesses that the Pastophori of Iset has set a trap for Sunday, Cyrus goes into full-gear trying to get her out of it…but he has to find her first.
