Honey Whiskey is not a standalone book; it is the second book in the Bastards series. In order to fully understand the characters and storyline, without feeling confused, you must read the first book about Matty and Jo, Always Been Mine.

~ My Thoughts ~
Wow, yup that about sums this story up. hehe It was unremarkable better the always been mine, even though that one left me speechless this one left me speechless, mindless, and shocked to no tomorrow. As you got to know the characters more and more in this amazing story, it became like you were apart of the Bastards family as much as Jo was. The love that all the characters showed for everything good was truly amazing. Once I learned more about them it really brought tears to my eyes as did a hole boat load of other great scenes( have to read it).
The author really and honestly did an outstanding job with the writing, the style and the characters over all. I really love/liked everything about this story, nothing needs to change that's for sure. I was shocked beyond words by the last chapter and even more shocked about the ending. Which just means that I have to read more and need more, I feel like I'm on a "vacation" and now am in limbo waiting for the next Bastards story. One thing I want to share is lol once I start talking about this story around my dad he will think I'm gone crazy, more then I already am that is. He doesn't like the word Bastard so I can't wait to head him yell about this then me try and explain it to him even better.
The story is a 2 person with a 3rd person POV thrown into the mix every once and a while. The main story was more focused on Jo and Matty getting over the stubbornness inside them both and really living life to the fullest with all the twist and the juicy turns that each character makes. It's really about the characters growing to love each other more. This story only took me 1 hole day to read cover to cover and still that wasn't enough. I'm in a Jo and Matty daze the sex was hott*blush* the banter even better. Hell even the tears in the story are even hott. This is one story that you don't want to miss out on. my advice is read Always Been Mine to have a somewhat knowledge about what's about to go down. Don't go into it blind you will regret that.

~ My Thoughts ~
Holy Mother of Pearl!!! This was a super great story. Yes I got mad at the main characters, yes I cried, yes I loved it!! What more do you want from me lol j/k This story is an attention grabber from the start; Then be warned once you start their is no going back. I started turning the pages and found that I couldn't stop for the life of me, the authors writing is outstanding!! She made the characters really shine for the readers.
This is a 2 person POV story. The story is a romance story with loads of sex and of course the alpha males, oh can't forget the heart ache either. In fact some of my favorite moments of this story are the heart break parts, I felt the author had you in-tuned to the character more at those parts. This is a biker romance, it's more on the way softer side of things for a biker romance but was really good none the less.
The characters are not your average biker babe, alphas at all they all have lives outside of being a "Robin Hood" biker. (yup you have got to read this story to understand what that means) I really enjoyed my time reading it even if it was only one day and I was falling asleep while reading it : ) It only took me one day to fully complete this story it's deff a story that leaves you wanting more and on a small very small cliffhanger.
