 ~ Excerpt ~

“You do not need to bring that up.” Her eyes narrowed and I could tell she was pissed. “Really?” I raised an eyebrow. “Do you react this way to every man who gives you an orgasm? Or just the ones you choose to hit and run?" “I, what? I did not...” she stammered. Good. I had her off-kilter. At least now I knew the feeling was mutual. “Look, it’s fine.” I shrugged and grinned, showing her I wasn’t all that bad. “Why did you take off that night?” She looked at me, contemplating her answer. “I was embarrassed. I’ve never done anything like that before. I had a little too much to drink and let’s just say I wasn’t thinking clearly.” I took a step closer, my gaze locking on hers. My hand moved to her face and cupped her jaw. I couldn’t resist. “Oh, I’d say you were clear enough with me about what you wanted.” I grinned and inched closer to her. The heat between us was palpable. I enjoyed making her uncomfortable. Maybe it was payback for her having left me in the dust that night. Who am I kidding? It was the attraction that still pulsed between us, even months later, in the light of day and stone-cold sober. Her mouth dropped open. “Please, you were the one who kissed me first!” “True, but you were the one who straddled me like you were gearing up to ride bronco,” I said with a pretend laisse-faire tone. Ah, there was that adorable flush in her cheeks again, when it had just started to subside.

~ My Thoughts ~

Wow just when the story was getting even better I'm left off with a cliffhanger. Damn story lol!! Now I can't wait to get my hands on Vol 2 and see what happens with Max and Chole. It seems to be a really hott start of a really hott relationship or in their case "just physical".  The author did an outstanding job with creating this story and putting it onto paper. Heck she had my attention on the first few pages and the grip was tight trust me I couldn't put the damn thing down lol.

This is a 2person POV story.  Chole is this strong independent woman who likes things her way and isn't afraid to say what's on her mind no way no how. She's been dealt a really shitty past and she hopes one day fate will take pity on her. She could let lose a little more and be more outgoing but I don't think it would fit the character very well in the story. Max is this hottie with loads of money who hates it. He sees what he wants and goes after it. Max just drips sexy all over. *blush*.  The main characters banter is amazing and the back stories you get on each character is even better. At least I don't really have to wait and wait for answers on the past as it comes in and out of the story.

The story is one you don't want to miss as the authors writing is accredible. You'll love this story and still want more of course once you get over the huge cliffhanger lol.
