~What's It About?~

Loving someone through their hard fall from grace takes a lot of grit.

In school, Toby Faye was a moody kid who sat in the back of class and looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there. Claudia Chiametti, the perfect student, always sat in the front row. She might have forgotten him if it weren't for the fact that his family had been involved in two tragic events. In the small town of Sayville, Long Island, many knew of the family’s dark history.

Hired on as a caretaker to Mrs. Faye, Claudia is thrown into the lives of the widow and her son — a world where sadness lingers and old wounds run deep. Now twenty-one, Toby is not so quiet. A mass of muscles and unruly hair, he is a real head turner. He is jaunty with the confidence his masculine good looks afford him. While not immune to his sexual advances, Claudia sees beyond the cocky grin. Up close, his blue-grey eyes expose something else.

Despite her father’s stern warnings about the family’s violent history, Claudia is empathetic to their plight and vows to help both mother and son move past the hurt. This endeavor forces her to face situations she never imagines possible. She must be tougher than she's ever had to be. Does Claudia have the grit to love Toby through his fall?

Saving Toby, the author's debut novel, is the first book of a two-part story that follows the emotional and gritty tale of a young couple's journey to find themselves and the love they never dreamed existed.

~My Thoughts~

WOW, WOW, and WOW I not only started halfway through the day but I finished it with hours of starting it!! I guess you can say I loved it. Although towards the ending I was reading to through my NOOK against the wall the story was making me mad, But for some reason I just couldn't put it past myself and had to keep on turning the pages. Boy am I glad for that lol. I ended up really enjoying the story the life changes the characters went through heck my heart even felt for them. I just couldn't get enough of the story. The Banter between Toby and Claudia was great had me laughing hard, they actually had great chemistry I hate the way they had gone wrong for them but happy with the outcome in the end.

This story I think was more or less showing that it doesn't hurt to let someone in that you truly love, things change for the better not the worse.  Each character rather it was Claudia telling the story or Toby always showed strength and that strength was heightened when they were with each other. Yes that's right you got to be in Claudia's head and Toby's head which made for a very interesting story I have to say I much rather be in Claudia's head more so then Toby's she innocent and he's not so innocent more like the bad boy next door that you don't want to bring home who hides the real him. Claudia was determined in this story to make him see what she see's and become herself at that.

This Romance, New Adult book was great I'm left waiting for Book 2 now but hey if it's anything like this then I'll wait, The author really out did herself with making things seem so real it was a really great story to have my nose in and I'll be happy to read it again and again and again that's for sure.  It was just about sex and what not it was more, so much more.  I feel in love with the Characters from the start they were really easy to like.  I know I found a new author that I really liked that's for sure.

Check out this story it's a story you don't want to miss out on!!
