I’m Dakota Collins, a tough talking, eye patch wearing, workaholic photography student. Why am I important? Well, maybe because I get to spend an entire month with Vicious, only the sickest indie rock band out there.

You see, I needed a subject for my Spring Showcase introspective in order to graduate. During a chance encounter at a club I’d been sent to cover for the Daily Gossip, our ironically named college paper, the features writer I usually teamed up with introduced me to the band—by accident, I might add. It involved a run in with a scary, bald bodyguard. Anyway, long story short, I signed a contract to take pictures of Vicious.

I should have known their handsome yet way too serious for his own good bassist, Luka Visraya, wouldn’t be able to keep his hands to himself. He’s gorgeous and all, but the way he smiles spelled trouble with a capital L. I’m in for a long month with him around.

~My Thoughts~

I really enjoyed this story, once I got reading it only took me 1 1/2 days to read and. Of course it left me wanting more a lot more. The way it was written was great a love story but also didn't have the feel of a love story. It opened my eyes up to a hole new love. The last thing I thought about while reading this was that it had to be a love story. I was wrong on so many levels to find out in the end it was a love story blew my mind away.

Not only was this a great story to read but look at the cover it looks amazing!! It also gave a feel for a certain part in the story(not gonna share don't want to ruin it). There wasn't anything that I didn't like from the story other then Luka being a Jerk half the time and of course the way things ended for everyone. That part sucked :) I think that is only because I have to wait now to find out what happened between Dakota and Luka.

The story had great appeal to it, caught my attention from the start, which to me is a great book then. Although I couldn't figure out if this was a paranormal romance or just some type of romance story. I also got the feel of YA in it but due to the extremely Hott Sex scenes I knew other wise. I for one can't wait for book 2.(note to author: please hurry with book 2 it's killing me to wait, lol). I am hoping that book to explains more about what happened New Year's Eve and with the damn nightmares. This is one story of Kate's you do not want to miss. I was checking out her website and couldn't help it all her books look great and sound even better I can't wait to read them.

When Kate Evangelista was told she had a knack for writing stories, she did the next best thing: entered medical school. After realizing she wasn't going to be the next Doogie Howser, M.D., Kate wandered into the Literature department of her university and never looked back. Today, she is in possession of a piece of paper that says to the world she owns a Literature degree. To make matters worse, she took Master's courses in creative writing. In the end, she realized to be a writer, none of what she had mattered. What really mattered? Writing. Plain and simple, honest to God, sitting in front of her computer, writing. Today, she lives in the Philippines and writes full time.
