~What's The Book About?~
When Sophie moves to Boston to get away from the people who ridiculed her for her psychic talents, she wants to start fresh. But when a demon attacks her study group at the library, she has no choice but to reveal her abilities to warn the others.
She learns the attacks won't stop until she's dead. To stay alive she joins forces with the other students and a secret society that has battled the demons for centuries.
The last thing she wants to do is be a pawn in the war of good and evil. When her visions start showing events from a past life, she can't ignore the connections it shows. She has no choice but to acknowledge the bonds that tie her to the other students, even if some of them refuse, to have the strength to defeat the demon that hunts them down.
Will she survive long enough to stop the demons from destroying everything and everyone she loves?

~My Thoughts~
First off let me start by saying this book was a great read it was really easy to understand what was happening and what was going to most likely happen. I myself got caught up in it that I really wanted to know how it was going to end so without jumping ahead which I'm known to do (of course I go back and read where I left off I just jump to the last page and read that) I had to keep reading it and reading it. Their was maybe a few things that I didn't like to much, 1. I couldn't figure out what the hell the Demoness was after them for? No matter the back flashes that Sophie had I still couldn't figure it out. To me that was hard, so now I'm stuck waiting till I get my hands on book 2 to find out what happened. 2. It left me with a cliffhanger which sucks of course. But it does leave me with wanting more.
The cover of this story doesn't do it justice, I think it should be more of the hole group then to my eyes just Sophie, however this is basically a story about Sophie. I have to say her and Tristan's relationship (can I even call it that) had my mind going it's like are they together or not? Loved it!!! Adian and Morgan they are a funny couple the complete opposite of each other but they make it work. Jackson and Lilli are this great super sweet couple that I would hope everything works out for. Moving on don't want to spoil it for many others. This story dealt with a lot of death and I do mean death as in blood lots of it. It wasn't that bad lol :) It did have it's moments with Sophie touching her Brother Todd and seeing what happened to him that part nearly had my waterworks going.
I do have to say that I enjoyed reading this it was different that what I normally read about Demons and such it really was great Now I just have to get my hands on book 2 so I can find out what happened now their on the boat? What about Lilli? Does Sophie become stronger? Do they finally take down the Demoness??? All this questions left and hoped to find the answers to them. I give this story 4 stars out of 5.
~Meet The Author~
I'm a multitasking mom of four. When not writing/doing laundry/changing diapers, I like to catch up on episodes of Supernatural and Castle. If you can't find
me in front of the computer, I'm most likely watching my DVR.
I've been writing since the first grade, where I wrote a one page story titled "If I was an Indian". My warrior husband was going to be the best hunter, I was going to live in the best teepee and apparently, I was having an affair with the Chief. Racy, I know.
Of the things I'm addicted to sweet tea, movies, and books top the list. My favorite authors include Nora Roberts, Lauren Kate, Kresley Cole, and Gena Showalter. Few of many I love.
