Synopsis
A world were all things supernatural are living among the humans. They aren't just living they are mating. Kristiana this smart and funny woman who was working under Colonel Hunsinger whom then got discharged and is now on the security team at the host hotel for this year's summit.
Michael Zakhara the dreaming Head Ambassador will be there and he has requested the presence of Kristiana to be his liaison. Which in turn she is not to happy about. He knows that she is his mate, even she has no clue about it but cannot get past the attraction for him.
A lot of supernaturals are going to be present all while of course the HPL-Human Purity League will also be there. Who in turns is behind the attacks on the missing children. Kristiana then is able to get all the supernaturals to work together in finding her niece and nephew along with the other missing children. Also while at the summit where issues are to be handle and solved. Kristiana thinks that the non-humans are not
aware of what's actually going on. Between Kristiana and Zakhara the tension between them starts and she becomes aware of other things going on in her mind about Michael.
With the summit only here for one week will Kristiana be able to find the children and get the problems worked out over the non-humans? Will Michael be able to reveal himself to Kristiana? Will she accept the mating?
My Review
This has been really well written and easy to read I absolutely loved every minute of reading it. When I first read it I admittedly fell in love with Michael Zakhara, he was this tall, dreamy, hott guy who wanted this one human, his mate. Even at the time she didn't want him. For me the hole story was well written. The love that Kris showed for Michael was very overpowering in my eyes towards the end they each new the buttons to push for each other and still have that love between them.
Although for them to get to the hole bonding rital, they over came the children getting captured and found, a very unusally trail by the Elevns. Well before the trail let me catch you up really qiuck, there was a big reveal in the human world by the supernatural beings called the non-humans, they were mating with humans along with their own kind. Well Kristiana was part of this HPL under the orders of Colonel Hunsinger, in which she became discharged. Now she works in a Hotel as security. While doing security the great Michael Zakhara comes to town for the huge summit in which he has requested that Kristiana be his liaison.
During the first few days of the summit Kris is heated by the fact she has to be at Zakhara's back and call, which just makes him even more hotter for her. The first night so bad she had wild hot dreams about his mouth all over her that part really got me into the hole story. Well then we get to another good part of the mating stuff happens she needs him and BAM he shows up for her and now won't let him out of her site. Talk about over protectiveness lol. Moving on she does this big plan on to find and rescue the children which happens and she finally comes to her sense over the bond. about time.
Anyways this story was very well written I loved the ending a lot, the mating ritual was the best I felt my self tearing up. I'm really glad that she passes and was able to not burn in the lava due to her mate being made of nothing but flames. Talk about heat lol. Wondering what is to come next for them. Kristiana is this strong willed women who I don't see just sitting around doing nothing in which this story she didn't she took charge every chance she got. As for Michael it was a shock that he let his guard down and showed his true form as being a Djinn which proved to be a shock for her and everyone else. See he's the last of his kind.
The new supernatural is getting better and better all the time this just goes to prove to me that their are different things out that that author's come up with and it's great. I really look forward to reading the 2nd novel of this series.
