What It's About?
Neil “Ax” Barron walked away from the Black Thorns MC two years ago. Now he’s back as Vice President for one reason: to take out the President of ruthless rival club, the Devil’s Mavericks. A sadistic, soulless man who is also his father. Ax has his orders to carry out his mission covertly so Black Thorns isn’t thrust into open war. My Thoughts
I never in my wildest dreams thought I would like this story as much as I did the start of it was a little different and I found my self having a real hard time getting into it, but of course as the story went on and I was on chapter 5 before I even noticed I knew then I 100% loved this story and couldn't get enough of it. My first time reading anything by this amazing and talented author and it wont be the last time either. The attention to details and the story line really make this story just fly by. I couldn't believe it was over before I knew it. The story line is fast paced and really easy to follow along to, the 2 person POV really helps this story flow to. You have 2 main characters that get into loads of crap with each other and by themselves. Ax the VP to start with comes with loads of demons that his dad has placed there on top of that he finds himself inserted into a small town where love finds him at the worse times ever. The temper he has on him makes him one fine alpha, strong and deep down a caring side to him. He makes himself known rather that's in a good way or not, Everything crazy happens just when he thought it was good a huge twist happens and blows everything away the good, the bad and the ugly. Rox, this down to earth hard core chick, no family and no time for stupidness. She wasn't looking for any type of love or man and bam here Ax came along and tore her life upside down made her even more of a hardass. Her journey takes on a different tone more emotions and more life to her, She brings something really great to the story rather that be her attitude on life the way she runs her town or just how she really is as a person, don't let that all fool you she does have her own demons to get over and hopefully with the help of Ax it works (see there I'm not going to say no Spoilers for you). Rox and Ax make an amazing couple and reading their journey was one of the greatest things I have read. I really enjoyed my time reading this story from start to finish Hell I don't even think it took me a whole day to finish it I know I kept telling myself one more chapter just one more and that in turn ended up with me reading it until the end. MUST READ!!!! The love, lies, demons, the hurt, the ride, death, sex and the twist and turns not to mention the shocking cliffhanger of an end really gets you moving your eyes on the pages that much more faster.
