Book Description

Star quarterback Austin Lawson’s dating life is fair game to the myriad gossip bloggers. Thanks to his most recent screw up with a social media savvy super model, he’s forced to return home so that his PR team can do damage control. To help speed things along, he volunteers at Jessamine Elementary School, never dreaming he’d find the perfect solution to his image problem in Harper Bell. Sweet as anything, she’s star struck by him and agrees to date-after-date, never suspecting the real reason he wants to be with her. But as things begin to heat up between them, Austin realizes that he wants Harper for more than just a quick fix.

Harper Bell is perfectly content as a second grade teacher in the small town of Jessamine—until she meets the one man who makes her question her lack of social life. She never dreamed that sexy, hometown hero Austin Lawson would ever notice a plain-Jane like herself. And with one hot kiss, she begins to fall head over heels for him…until she learns the truth. Austin’s been using her.

Now Austin has to execute the perfect play to win back the girl of his dreams. Or will Harper bench him permanently?

My Thoughts

This story wasn't like the others it was more about becoming ones self and over coming fears. This was not my first or last rodeo with this amazing and very talented author. Her writing was amazing every word that she had put down is like magic in my mind. The words speak to you as if they are coming off the pages. As with any characters that fall in love something bad always happens rather it be a happy ending or a super sad ending that makes you want to rip your eyes out it's still a really great story. You meet the youngest Lawson brother Austin, his charm, built and knowledge does everything for him even his career choice has your panties melting off. But one thing that might change your mind is the totally and completely mess up that happens in his life that makes him take a seat and really think about his choices and how to fix them. Then you have Harper such a sweet and caring person, great job and really bad family for the most part. She's the girl next door, the best friend, loner she meets Austin and her world turns and she breaks out of this shell she was once in. The love that these to have for each other is warm feeling and amazing to read. The love that spreads over the pages is beautiful. The hate, anger, love, lust, laughs, friendship, and banter that they each have with each other makes for the perfect couple. I so could talk about them all day but then I'd really run into spoilers and I really don't want that to happen at all. This is a must read novel from start to finish your head will be spinning and your heart beating as fast as it can. MUST READ!!! 2 person POV. Take the chance and read the Lawson brothers you so don't want to miss out on these country loving, alpha type men and they way they love is hard as ever, which can make any woman fall to her knees. Not to mention once you reach the end you can't help but want more and more.
